Our Helen necklace is based on our best-selling former Argo chain. Created in 14k gold fill. Gold fill is not plated - a heavy layer of 14k gold is electronically bonded to a thin base layer of brass. With care, gold filled pieces will last a lifetime. This versatile chain includes a small 14k gold fill hook to allow the necklace to be worn a multitude of ways. 

Helen is perhaps one of the most misunderstood women in Greek myth. For me, she is ultimately a survivor - a chameleon, seamlessly transforming into the roles she was forced to fill by men throughout her life. Though her power was thought to be in her unrivaled beauty - I believe her truest strength was in her ability to create a life for herself in multiple and always tumultuous circumstances.
